Today we’re here to talk about your feet. Just like any other part of your body, your feet are also prone to get tanned in summers. So, we’re bringing some easy tips to brighten and whiten your feet using ingredients that are readily available in the market. Let’s start!
Yogurt and tomato foot mask
For this, you can either take some yogurt or some raw milk in a bowl. Now, take half a tomato and dip it in the bowl. Use this tomato to gently scrub your feet. Do this for a few minutes and after that leave it as it is and proceed to make a sandalwood foot mask. Grab the remaining half of the tomato and mix its pulp with sandalwood powder. Apply this mixture on your feet and let it dry completely. Wash your feet later. This mask will improve blood circulation and will cleanse your feet deeply.
Apple cider vinegar and salt
Combine half a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and one teaspoon of rock salt well. Pour this mixture into a tub containing lukewarm water. Soak your feet in this tub for about 10 minutes. Later, scrub your feet gently with a soft bristled brush. Lastly, wash your feet with normal water.
Multani mitti and rose water paste
Mix together one tablespoon Multani mitti or gram flour with rosewater to obtain a thick paste. Apply this paste on your feet and let it dry completely. Once it is dried, scrub your feet and then wash them with warm water.
Cucumber and lemon juice
Mix 4 tablespoons of cucumber juice with some lemon juice. Apply this on your feet and let it sit for some time. Rinse it with cold water and watch the tanning fade away!
Sandalwood powder and lemon juice
Sandalwood powder is an aromatic powder which is one of the most effective and the most powerful healing and skin lightening agent. This heals tanning and makes your skin glow. To prepare this mask, mix three spoons of sandalwood powder with some freshly squeezed lemon juice and rose water. Apply it on your feet and keep it on for 20 minutes and then wash it off.
Mix a little amount of water with some baking soda to obtain a thick paste. Apply this on your feet and scrub gently to exfoliate the dead skin. Leave it for 15 minutes before washing it off.
One essential tip is to moisturize your feet after using any of the above masks. Use a pair of socks to keep your feet clean after you moisturize them.
