We seem to eat healthy seafood snacks with salads, but in reality, there is not even ounce of crabs in these food sticks. Usually, these sticks are filled with mashed white fish fillets or even with Gluten, starch, and white egg. The main ingredients that all the crab sticks have in common are sugar, flavouring, colouring, and flavour intensifiers. These ingredients cause addiction-like MSG.

 

3. Cornflakes

You would be in shock after you listen that cornflakes are also under the list of foods that we need to ignore in the supermarkets. We consider the cornflakes as the healthy breakfast, but actually, it is not as healthy as we think. The corn flour in the cornflakes loses its vitamins when it has fried in sugar and oil. The preservatives present in the cornflakes are not healthy. If you regular intake cornflakes as your breakfast, then it will lead you to gain weight.

4. Smoked foods

If the smoked food has smoked through natural ways, then there is nothing wrong with the smoked food. If there are hook marks, bar marks, and tread marks on the packaging of smoked food, then it indicates that the food has smoked with natural methods. However, there are more controversial smoking methods like liquid smoke. In the liquid smoke, they use harmful chemicals for the preservation and for enhancing the flavours like formaldehyde and phenols. And sometimes, the old meat is smoked with the dangerous chemicals to hide the smell of the stale.

 

5. Grapes

Grapes have a very short life. It is the fruit which needs to be consumed fresh otherwise it will harm your health. The supermarkets usually keep the grapes and treat them with the chemicals to keep them fresh so that we buy it. So we should not purchase these grapes because so many chemicals have added to it by the shopkeepers to keep them fresh for a long time. So avoid buying them.

6. Black olives

You do not need to get any work out of these black olives. You only buy the green olives from the market. The ripe olives are dark in colour. The dark colour can be dark violet or dark brown. It means that the black olives are not natural means the black colour is not natural for olives. Shopkeepers usually sold black olives in cans. The shopkeepers in the supermarkets dye the green olives with nutrients, especially ferrous gluconate. If we consume these black olives in the small amount then these are not much risk, but if we consume them more then these are not healthy for our body and harm us.
