It is said that long and healthy hair depends on genes. People say this is heredity. I don’t disagree with this point. But it is not entirely correct. If not heredity it can be healthy and beautiful if some extra care is given with proper, right handling and maintaining it can bring surprising results. Let ‘s go through some necessary steps which can help in this.
1.oiling of hair once a week
Hair also needs food to survive. And the best food for them is castor, almond and olive oil. Castor oil is good for re-growth of hair; almond oil is full of vitamin-e which gives shine and nourishment to hair. Olive oil provides good volume to hair.
How to do:
Microwave 2 tablespoons of olive oil for 15 seconds then add two tablespoons of castor oil and one tablespoon of almond oil.
This mixture should be adequately applied to the roots and tip of the hair and should be massaged in such a way that it penetrates the scalp and should be left overnight. The results will be felt after a month, and for better results, it should be continued for six months.
2.shampoo on MWF
Shampoo helps in cleansing the hair. It should be made mandatory to shampoo the hair on every Monday Wednesday and Friday. And shampoo should be chosen according to the hair type. Whether it is dry/oily/dry roots/dry hair.
3. Milk wash for hair
Washing the hair with milk is very helpful. It is not at all smelly. Make a point to wash your hair without a hair mask. In today’s busy world people don’t get time to put a hair mask every day. So milk comes to the rescue. Milk does a lot of qualities it moisturises the hair, adds shine and helps to grow the hair long.
How to do:
On the day you want to shampoo your hair take half a bowl of milk, make it on the palm and apply on the scalp. Shampoo it after a few minutes.
Note: it will show results within a month. If you have curly hair, it will open up, and it also helps to remove frizziness and makes it manageable.
4. No to hair dryer after shampooing
After shampooing avoid hair dryer. Instead of that wrap your hair in the towel for some time. This will prevent the water from dripping. Then vigorously massage your scalp with your fingers which will dry the hair. This will also increase the blood circulation of the scalp which further will enhance hair growth and prevent hair fall.

5.Curd and honey
These two are very helpful and form a wonderful mask for the hair. This can be used for all hair types once in a fortnight. Honey adds lustre to hair and curd is rich in magnesium and potassium.
How to do:
Take four tablespoons of curd, add one tablespoon of honey in that. Apply it for 15 minutes after mixing it well. Shampoo it after that and get the result.
6. Milk with almond oil-drink it
Milk is full of proteins and a complete diet in itself. When combined with almond oil which provides vitamin-e. It becomes a complete food for hair even for a skin. Make it mandatory to have a cup of warm milk with a teaspoon of almond oil before going to bed.
